Entièrement remonté et sonorisé, le film réalisé par les deux amis nous replonge dans cette atmosphère si particulière des années 70 où toute une population aspirait à suivre les traces des hommes comme Bernard Moitessier qui surent intimement lier l’aventure à la voile à l’écriture et donner une vision du monde qui reste aujourd’hui étonnamment actuelle et contemporaine. “Le voyage de Damien” est à ce titre exemplaire.
